Asia second largest church catholic church was in a small town Kunkuri in a district Jashpur

Manustain S.J completed its construction in the period of Late Rev. Bishop Francis Ekka. It was inaugurated on 27 October 1979. The Catholic cathedral at Kunkuri is the biggest church in the state. This tribal run church in Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, is India's largest in terms of seating capacity.

 officially known as the cathedral of our lady of the rosary 
the foundation was laid in 1962.it was inaugurated on 27 October 1979  it took 17 years to build and it can accommodate 8000 people it is the largest church in India . over 5 lakh people of all faiths comes here seek blessings every year . it has 7 roof supported by a common beam which is symbolic of entire humanity being under a god's purview the church also has symbols of seven sacraments made of angle iron .
